A husband is on the phone in the middle of the night when he’s caught by his wife. Who could he be talking to? Why, it’s just Jake from State Farm! These charming spots spawned a catchphrase (“Uh, khakis?”) and even lured some famous guest stars, like SNL’s The Coneheads.
In 2020, State Farm rebooted the “Jake From State Farm” spots, recasting the original Jake. The new ads have also been a big hit, and have featured big stars like Paul Rudd and Drake. But what about the OG Jake? Here’s what happened to the original Jake from State Farm.
