The Control Arms Foundation of India, along with India Habitat Centre co-hosted a panel discussion and film screening on 1 August. The CMC film “Unacceptable Harm” by Chris Anderson was screened and a panel discussion followed. The film inspired many at the event to campaign on cluster bombs. A call on the Government of India was also made to stop producing cluster munitions and accede to the treaty without delay. Following the event, hundreds of pamphlets in English and Hindi were distributed at Mahatma Gandhi Smriti, the India International Centre and in other public places. NGOs, media, members of the public, activists, and university students attended the events.
