Azerbaijan

A round table meeting took place on 2 August at the Azerbaijan Media Center in Baku from 10am to 1pm. Participants included representatives from the Government of Azerbaijan (MFA, MoD, Ministry of Defense Industry, ANAMA and the Ombudsman’s Office), embassy representatives, ICRC, UNDP, representatives from the NGO sector, university students, landmine survivors and local media. AzCBL translated the Convention of Cluster Munitions into Azerbaijani which was distributed at the roundtable event. During this event the AzCBL screened the film “Unacceptable Harm” in Azerbaijani.
