Campaigners issued a joint statement to welcome entry into force of the convention, as well as undertaking targeted media outreach with local journalists. A meeting was organised with representatives from 20 self-help clubs of survivors in Quang Binh to share information on the CCM and other related issues. These representatives then disseminated the information to their 600 members and communities.
